Artist's description:

This painting depicts the Chieftain AVRE (CHAVRE) (Armoured Vehicle Royal Engineers) obstacle assault vehicle and the Chieftain AVLB (Armoured Vehicle Launch Bridge) bridging vehicle. Both types of vehicles were employed by the Armoured Engineers in their operational role of ‘Operation Telic’ in Iraq 2003.
