Original artwork description:

This semi abstract work was painted after a visit to the the coastal area of East Lothian where the Bass Rock can be seen from the south shore of the Firth of Forth. It shows that even in poor weather conditions there is beauty to be found in the sea. The composition is continued on the edges to allow hanging without framing if so desired.
