New: this is a very large (120x100cm) floral artwork. Abstract expressionist style on 100% cotton canvas stretched over a chunky wooden frame. No extra framing is required and the painting is ready to hang as soon as you unpack it.
Inspiration: A couple of years ago I used to drive by a grass verge full of gorgeous wild flowers - poppies, cornflowers, daises and buttercups. It was a difficult daily drive to the hospital to visit my Dad in his last few weeks. As I paused at the traffic lights, I would take in this spontaneous array of colour which momentarily eased my pain.
