Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

This piece was inspired by Thoreau's "Why I Went to the Woods." It is painted wood with calligraphed lettering in gold and ink. The inset is 3-d torn paper with the words from his essay surrounding an acorn seed. The inset is capped with original photography of trees from the woods on acetate. It is a reminder of the simplicity of nature.
