CURRENTLY RESERVED FOR AN EXHIBITION, MAY BE BACK SOON!
This tiny but cheerful little picture was fun to make! I started off by experimenting with screenprinting on fabric, using a stencil. Then I elaborated on the image by overprinting with a linocut in black ink. Finally I used a digital transfer paper to add the text - which is taken from an old book of Australian wildlife, which described the jungle and the way "the white cockatoos sported like spirits of life".
Because of the complexity of making this layered print, the edition is very small. It is shown for sale framed, if you wish to buy it unframed let me know and I will relist it.
