Inspired by the fullness of the forest, with its mazes of trees and dense canopies of leaves. Relishing the highly chromatic colors offered by acrylic and exaggerating and pushing the colors a lot. Dispensers were used to apply thick pure hues in a pointillistic style on the panel. From up close, the haphazard stokes are abstract and become more realistic from a distance, reminiscent of impressionism. On the finished work, an interference violet was troweled over the surface giving the work a violescence and luminescence. And finally two coats of varnish were applied.
