Original artwork description:

An expressive acrylic animal painting from the series 'All the Worlds a Stage' which captures moments in our lives. Originally inspired by William Shakespeare's monologue
from 'As You Like It'
All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players.
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages.

I realised early on that I could not simply portray my life in seven ages. I was enjoying capturing momentous occasions and looks too much. This is the second showing an ostrich. The first piece entitled The Look - sold.

Materials used:

acrylic paints, gel medium, varnish
