Artist's description:

This very fun original acrylic painting was done from a photo that I took in the Bahamas at Ardastra Gardens on February 24, 2009. My husband and I attended the world-famous flamingo show that gorgeous afternoon. I was thrilled with the photos I took--one in particular where two flamingos were passing close to each other, and their necks formed a heart shape.

I'm pretty sure my subconscious self wanted a little party attitude in the piece, as I was really missing my hometown of New Orleans while I brought this to completion during the end of Mardi Gras season.

This piece is sold unframed, but it is beautifully painted on all sides--no frame necessary unless you want one!

This painting was juried into a national show here in the USA, and it has sold.

Materials used:

professional grade acylic paint applied with brushes and palette knives onto an archival canvas
