This was one of those bothersom brilliant ideas that wakes you up, just as you are drifting off to sleep. You leap out of bed and scramble down the stairs for a sketchbook before the image fades.
I think this picture has to do with the secret of souls... the cave is reminiscent of the shape of a human skull and the stars... well, they speak infinity. A handful of stars... we all have that as children.
