My painter friend George and I went out for a days painting on the 18th June 2015 and we produced two paintings. I really love how this one turned out. You can see the Ripley/Pyrford Lock at the side and Walsham Weir on the right with its walkway over the top. There is a wonderful lock keepers cottage which really makes the scene. The more grey trees are willows. A classic Surrey image I think.
