There are few things that speak of the American West like the sandstone mesas that dot the landscape. This piece blends authentic vintage ephemera, acrylic paints and my photography of an iconic mesa on the Western Slope of Colorado near the Utah Border (Mt. Garfield). This is the one-of-a kind original, not a reproduction.

Inspired by my passion for travel and nature, my photography marries beautifully with mixed media techniques including acrylic paints, inks and collage. Each piece tells a unique story through the quiet scenes captured, the vintage ephemera incorporated and the touches of paint that when combined creates a new piece that is greater than the sum of its parts.
My work is nature inspired, travel inspired, vintage inspired. I create art that speaks to wide open spaces, quiet places and simpler times.
