It’s Albions streets commercial atmosphere, with a regard and appreciation for the Baroque style architecture that I enjoy. The print represents affectionately both of these architectural styles. One side of the street has modern buildings, like West Riding House (on the right) shaped with a simplistic modern, recatgular forms. The County of York, West Riding Is what the Leeds city center area used to be named- West Riding House, 1973, is named after this. It’s new name Pinnacle

On the left of the street, ALBION PALACE, a Former YMCA building, now just as respected and admired through simply its presence. Built soon after 1900, it’s Venetian stair windows are my favourite feature. It’s status is declared with more variety in the prints shapes. leeds is a city which voices its old architecture with pride. I will continue to represent this quality more in the print series.
