An original abstract, atmospheric seascape painting of a summer sunset on the West coast of Scotland.

Some of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen have been on the West coast of Scotland where you can find an incredible setting around almost every corner.

I tried to capture the light emerging from behind the distant landscape with the stillness of the sea reflecting the never-ending sky.

The painting continues around the deep edges of the canvas giving a very contemporary style although it can be framed if you wish.
