Artist's description:

During one of my long summer walks on the island of Iz in mid-Dalmatia, dark stormclouds gathered within minutes. I hurried towards the St Rocco Chapel, knowing that it could hardly give me any shelter as it has no eaves and is locked at all times except for occasional annual religious festivities. Just before I reached it, I realised that I had a magnificently dramatic and rather surrealistic image right in front of me. The scene reminded me of an old abandoned Spanish chapel somewhere in South America, the kind I have seen in movies. But as soon as I had taken this picture, I rushed to claim the meagre shelter of a dwindling tree next to the Chapel, risking a lightning strike... things we artists won't do for our art! Thankfully, I only got a good soak.

Most of my images are available in a range of sizes and on different kinds of photographic and fine art paper, including Inkjet Pro Fine Art Paper 320gsm, Inkjet Hahnemuele Bright White Rag Paper 310gsm, Inkjet Canson Rag Photographique Paper 310gsm, and Inkjet Hahnemuele Museum Etching Paper 350gsm. Please ask me if you wish to place a special order and I will do my best to fulfil your wishes. Please note that prints on fine art paper will be shipped flat to avoid damage to the extra sensitive print, which may slightly increase the shipping cost. I will provide you with a special shipping quote prior to your placing the order if applicable.
