Artwork description:

Weather Worn Silhouette is an original three colour screenprint of a child at the water's edge silhouetted against a weather worn textured background.

It is one of a series of ongoing prints I am working on based around the theme of worn and eroded surfaces and textures found at the coast. The print is created with rough edges to emphasise this.

I am an artist printmaker working in a wide range of print media. This print is from a small edition of 5 printed in water based screenprinting inks in shades of pale blue, dark navy blue and vibrant red on Fabriano 300gsm white artists quality paper.


The image itself is 21 x 29cm on 28 x 38cm paper (approx)
It is unmounted and unframed and fits well within a standard 12 x 16 inch frame.

Due to the nature of the process there may be slight variations between prints within the edition. As with all works of art, care should be taken to display away from direct sunlight and excess humidity.
