Artist's description:

An abstract piece certainly influenced in part by political, racial, and social turmoil in the U.S. at the time it was made. I consciously tried to move away from my signature colors of rusts, tans, and yellows, for a cooler feeling work.
This piece is on heavy paper and can be sold with frame if requested. Personally, I feel I am reaching where I want to be as an artist. Of course, one should always strive to grow, but I feel I am on course. This painting is already a personal favorite.
