Day 9/365 of my Daily Painting project: Postcards from Pembrokeshire. Painted on canvas over board, each painting uses my homemade earth ground paint (made with different Pembrokeshire soils). A different painting for each day of the year, started 16th August 2016.
Turning east, Waterwynch Lane winds down to the sea, oaks heavy in midday sun and shadow, stripes of light and inky dark between the banks.
Pembrokeshire is like this. I can sit in the lane painting for a couple of hours and no-one comes.
I paint these things that I see every day, please sign up for the daily painting blog:
oil, canvas on board, homemade paint
