Artist's description:

I live in a beautiful part of Thailand, so my art tells vivid and thought-provoking stories of my life, my land, and its people.

A lot of the paintings go back to my early childhood when I worked in the rice fields, and later driving a pick up truck round the villages selling vegetables where I met some wonderful people of which I have fond memories.

Old man watching the world go by, I was at the floating market just outside Bangkok and hired a private boat to tour the market and the back waters where the market traders live (well worth doing in ever you're in Bangkok) it was amazing with brilliant photo opportunities. This old boy was fishing but really more interested in watching the world go by.

Thank you for visiting my gallery and I really hope you will find something that you will enjoy for a long time to come.

The paintings that I create are meant to inspire and uplift, as well as enhance your interiors. I believe that our homes should be sanctuaries that surrounds us with comfort, colour, beauty and the things we love. If you feel an emotional connection to a work, or you just love the colours and the art makes you feel good, then I've accomplished what I set out to do. Hopefully you'll treat yourself to it! Or maybe you're considering this artwork for a special gift. What you're really investing in is what makes you or the recipient feel good. So, if you love it or you think they're going to love it -- follow your instinct and buy it!

I get a lot of my inspiration from three artist; Claude Monet with his use of colour, his expressiveness, detail and the softness of his beautiful paintings, Vincent van Gogh with his bold use of colour his expressiveness, and I like to think I’m a little impulsive like him, and Lowry unbelievable he produced the work he did just using five colours.

I want my art to tell stories, vivid, interesting and thought-provoking. I always try to put something of myself in my paintings; in the form, the colours, the brush stokes, my feelings, my joy, sometimes my darkness but I hope mostly joy and happiness.

This painting is hand painted using quality oil paint on gessoed cotton, with the edges painted black so no frame necessary unless desired.

My works are original very carefully packaged and a tracking code is provided, all my paintings are signed and come with a certificate of authenticity.
