Lovers embracing in red, turquoise and gold is a large warm coloured pastel drawing from the mid 90s, made just after I moved to live in Lincolnshire - a new relationship, new life.
The title is inspired by the lyrics in the Van Morrison song of the same title. Please note that the 'gold' refers to a warm yellow (not shiny gold gouache as in some of my other works).
It is chalk pastel on Somerset 300 gsm paper.
Wrapped in acid-free tissue, carefully packed flat; sent by Tracked Delivery.
