I recently returned from an epic roadtrip from Houston to Yellowstone Park in Wyoming. My fiance and I stayed in AirBnB's across the country, and our home-away-from-home just outside Yellowstone's east entrance was an RV camper parked in a couple's yard. The tiny town is called Wapiti (pronounced "whap-it-tee," emphasis on "whap"), and this was our view in the mornings when we stepped out of our camper. I captured it in watercolor early one morning as the sunlight was emblazoning itself across the landscape.
Done in Derwent watercolors on Strathmore paper, the piece measures 9" x 12" and comes unframed. I'll ship it from Houston in a protective sleeve with backing, inside a reinforced envelope.
A fantastic piece for fans of landscapes, Wyoming, and Yellowstone!
