Artwork description:

A diptych set of fabulously blue abstracts of the beautiful sea around the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides. Far, far away from the Madding Crowd, Harris is famous for the teal blue water that flows around the south end of the island. The colours change with the light and gently laps over the white sand beneath creating a sensation of endless blue.

About My Work
I believe in giving my clients beautiful artwork on luxury papers that hold their colours for a lifetime! For these special prints of my work I use dreamy, light textured Canson Canvas and the highest quality inks. I do all my own printing, having spent years learning this skill I prefer to maintain control of the colour representation at all stages to ensure you get a truly handmade image.

About My Materials
People often say that my images look like paintings because of the richness of the colours, the depth of the black and the texture of the materials I use. Canson are one of the oldest paper manufacturers in the world, they have been making paper for over 450 years in France. Founded in 1557 and printers to Louis XVI, their paper was used by Voltaire and Napoleon and the Montgolfier brothers used Canson paper to make the first hot air balloon. Canson paper was used by Picasso, Ingres, Chagal, Miro and many other artists. They have been making paper and canvas for photography since this art began over 150 years ago. Canson are Eco Friendly - they purchase paper pulp only from forests managed in a sustainable way which also makes them pretty special.

Extra Information
I am happy to take custom orders, just drop me a line if you prefer another material (canvas or paper) or you need a custom size.

Canvases and prints are unframed and unmounted.

Canvases are signed in the bottom right corner and on the back then lightly treated with museum grade varnish to protect them from scratches. They have a 2 inch (5cm) white border to allow for stretching on the frame (if you need another colour for the sides please let me know in plenty of time).

Paper prints have a generous white border with the signature, title and print number at the bottom. If you need a different colour on the sides please let me know when ordering.

Once your beautiful print is ready, it is carefully wrapped in acid free tissue then shipped in a sturdy art tube to ensure safe delivery. All taxes and duties to be paid by the receiver.

Thanks for looking, if you have any questions just let me know.
