Original artwork description:

As part of my Icons series, this is a painting of the 60's rock legend Jim Morrison.
This painting is based on picture taken during a live concert, I was inspired by this image of him because he often turned his back to the audience , still highly recognizable by his posture and trademark leather trousers and belt, I think it gives the painting a air of poetic mystery and describes perfectly this enigmatic and highly influential artist.
