A peaceful interlude is captured in the moments before the hunt move off, the focal point being two beautiful hounds standing end to end. The artwork is double mounted under flecked ivory board and framed, under glass, in a wooden frame of very dark liver brown which is just bordering on black.
I chose to do this painting as a lover of countryside tradition and ritual in rural Herefordshire.
The artwork has been produced using water-soluble crayon and acrylic paint
