Original artwork description:

I very much regard myself as a figurative artist, who is bound by certain rules and also, I tend to work in monochrome rather than vivid colours. But, every now and then I need to break free from those 'shackles' and just make marks on a canvas.

There is something quite magical if you only let emotions rule what's in front of you... and not knowing precisely what you're going to end up with, is actually really exiting.

The most challenging thing about abstract imagery is... knowing when to stop :)

I hope you agree with my timing.

Materials used:

Oil paint
