Artist's description:

Don't you just love waterlilies this is the best time to see them in summer when they burst out of there bulbs on the luscious greeny yellow pads and look so magnificent on water.
I was very much inspired to paint the voluptuous waterlilies when I had come back from Abbotsbury tropical gardens on the south coast of Dorset last week. The highlight for me was seeing them all out and I know when I go back in September they might of disappeared.
I used beautiful rough textured watercolour paper a large hogs hair brush for the colour washes and sable brush for flower detail.I mixed ,applied high quality watercolour paint Holbien and embraced the paper by swirling my brush .
