Artist's description:

My very first drawing from the imagination (excepting very small sketches now and then), featuring my interpretation of the greco-roman goddess Voluptas (Hedone, in Greek). I used the traditional iconography of the Indian goddess Kali as an inspiration, along with my previous charcoal study of a Venus statue.

Materials used:

charcoal, charcoal pencil, sanguine, white pastel
