Artist's description:

The fingers tremble under the controlled action of the fiddler, the bow glides slowly over the strings....the music comes out, magic.
The blue background contributes to the serenity of the action; a controlled, calm, long playing...
Music is very important in my life, being father to two fantastic professional violinists
I had witnessed their efforts, from early childhood, the dedicated ,constant work to achieve that perfect sound.
Encaustic on paper mounted on board. I used a technique called in Japan "back painting" that consists in painting parts of the back of the picture to obtain a transparency unachievable otherwise.
