Original artwork description:

This painting is the embodiment of my progression as an artist as well as an individual. It is essential everything which I consume and use in one piece. What does this mean ? The answer comes in the form of the media used. I first began with a background that reminisces of my original attempts at art. One which involved the use of acrylics and a very watercolor like texture. The next layer of this painting was made from coffee grinds and the stains that follow. Since being now a freshly graduated bachelors student of the sciences, I have come to recognize just how much this wonderful concoction has fueled my life, so why not use it in my painting? The following layer was enhanced by the use of 6 month old alcoholic tinctures. These are organic extracts in which certain herbs are used for their medicinal charecteristics and made into home remedy elixirs. My experimentation with this home medicine has led to the production of some very vibrant colors which also represent my personality but also acational love for a drink or two after a long day. The final cost was made with my medium of choice, oil. It was made using the spesific technique which had lead me to success in my early career, something I like to image as patented.

The painting has beautiful tones of gold and slight bronze. These tones come alive in the presence of light. This insures that the painting is in fact alive. You will experience a different painting during different times of day with varying light. This is my personal favorite charecteristic, for it is a great attention grabber but also keeps the decor fresh without fading into the background or getting dull.
