Artwork description:

I was looking at an exhibit in a museum and became aware of the amazing reflections that were being created by the back lit display behind me. It was very difficult to photograph without getting my reflection. In the end I realised it was better for composition with me in the photo.
I made it as a photo etching by using light sensitive plate and ultra violet light and a positive image. The etching plate was then inked in sepia with a border created to emulate an old photo.
It has a good spacial quality.

Materials used:

Photopolymer etching on 300g Somerset.
