Artist's description:

This painting is an exploration of free approach to the subject on the one hand and, on the other, of the freedom of brushwork. It's always been a great challenge for me to paint something that's by its very nature full of straight lines with freedom that will imbue it with life. Here, I wanted to make the building come alive, as if moving and breathing, and in order to achieve that I employed distortion and very free brushwork.

This painting was executed on a 100% linen, Winsor & Newton canvas, ready for hanging, using high-quality, professional Winsor & Newton artists' oil colour.
