Artist's description:

Vanoise National Park, in southeast France’s Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, is sandwiched between the Tarentaise and Maurienne valleys in the French Alps and bordered by Italy’s Gran Paradiso National Park. This large painting was inspired by many ski trips to the region. It was created almost entirely with pallet knives and features a thick gloss varnish finish across the mountains.

The canvas is mounted onto a 2mm thick backboard for easy framing.
