Artist's description:

This work was inspired by recent colours found in nature. Shades of vivid green shoots now have started to appear- even the bright yellow daffodil or two emerging from their wintery sleep, as they grow in a nearby church yard; This illuminating how the manmade and natural world can thrive in the same space.
In Urban Traces VIII, I have combined the colours of nature and manmade materials, by using watercolour as the backdrop to print collagraph plate on top. Various manmade substances such as plastics, textured card, sand paper, string, hessian, and fabrics were used along with imprints from manmade objects.
The work includes gold leaf which has been embossed onto work.

Although the original collagraph was made in 2011 as part of a project 'Journeys' , seeing the recent colours in nature inspired me to consider and explore these ideas and create the Urban Traces series.

Please note the limited edition of 30 includes all the series of Urban
Traces formats - due to the collagraph plates fragility, I am unable to produce more than the edition stated...the series includes images of one, two or four images on paper.
This particular work will come unframed - with a free 4 aperture mount as seen on images.

PLEASE NOTE!...this particular work I have 'reduced' in price from £75.00 to £65.00 due to the papers cropped size... as can be seen in images and from the framed and mounted image this does not effect the finished view of this work.

I endeavour to reply to messages as soon as possible... please feel free to contact me with any questions.
The works will be securely wrapped in quality recyclable packaging...thank you for taking time to visiting my art space
