This painting was created in a mad dash at sunset in the upper field of Mountainside Lavender in Hillsboro, Oregon. The sun had baked down on us all day as we patiently waited for the warm light of evening. When the time finally arrived I had mere minutes to capture the scene as I planned it. With shafts of light casting a honey like glow across the field it was quite the scene to behold. I'm so thankful to have experienced that moment in time.
This painting is framed in a beautiful plein air style frame with classic details.
