Artwork description:
The work made during my art residency in Spain 🇪🇸. I have made a project about lack of the visibility of women in the public life in the small town in AndalucÃa. The cyanotypes were made using objects typically associated with women, such as jewellery, corsets, handbags and so on. I think that the ghostly nature of those prints lends itself very well to the subject of the series. These are originals and each work is unique even though sometimes the same object was used more than once.
My practice mediates between photography and painting. Female narratives develop while the time is being recycled over.
