Original artwork description:

I like to explore day to day objects or moments in my personal point of view. I’m inspired conceptually by both Realism of the 19th century, and Pop Art’s popular and banal themes. As a contemporary painter, I’m not interested in an exact description of reality, but in suggestive and sensual one, celebrating the different qualities of the painting itself. In that sense I am influences by Impressionist painters like Monet or Expressionist painters as James Ensor. I would like to make one wonder why I choose certain subjects and certain ways of painting them.
