Artist's description:

Gestural black and white on 18"x24" unstretched canvas, ready to frame.

A lot of my work is simply done in black and white and someone had once asked why do I favor black over colors. My answer was pretty simple....

For starters, while aesthetically pleasing to look at, I like to use black as it allows the viewer to get lost in the painting and to interpret for themselves what they see without the distraction of colors. Each person sees something different and in a way, I've painted a different picture for each individual person within the one painting.

Also, black is -- on the spectrum -- the absorption of all colors, so in a way, these works are actually the most colorful of all my works.

My works have exhibited throughout the United States, mostly in Los Angeles, Ventura, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Thousand Oaks, and New York City and overseas in London. Originals are owned by collectors in those cities as well.
