Original artwork description:

I wanted to capture the natural bright colours of fruit in an exaggerated, flat, pop art style. And watermelon is my favourite fruit. It's a smaller version of a painting I have for sale in my shop.

This is a close up of the inside-fruit part of a watermelon, against a bright light blue background and separated with bold black outlines. It's all painted in acrylic paints.

I've been inspired to create work like this by classic pop artists like Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Patrick Caulfield.

The painting is 15cm x 15cm, or 5 inches by 5 inches. It is a block canvas 1.5 centimetres thick so can be ready to hang.

It would look great in a kitchen, living room, or bedroom, or in a quirky cafe, restaurant, or pub.

Postage will be first class and packaged flat with bubble wrap.
