"Unicorn's Reverie"

Using a stencil, wax resist, ink and acrylic stamping with watercolour painting and gold highlights I've created with a spirit of alchemy a unique original artwork.

Monoprint is considered the most painterly printmaking process, like printing a painting - it is a spontaneous combination of printmaking, painting and drawing.
There is always a pattern or image which is constantly repeated in each print: in this case the Unicorn & Butterflies. Having a repeated pattern, we have a mono-print, which is then built upon with painting.
One cannot produce a traditional edition with monoprint because the images and lines cannot be exactly reproduced and no two painted prints end up being alike.

The print painting you receive is exactly the one pictured: please look closely at all the photos for the detailed unique features of this distinctive artwork.


• It is produced with watercolors, acrylic and pen & ink on heavyweight Bockingford watercolour paper
• The lovely image measures approx 6.25 x 6.25 inches
• The paper measures 8 x 8 inches
• It is carefully shipped and packaged with a cardboard backing and a protective plastic sleeve.
• It does NOT come with a mat.
