Artwork description:

The sun had set and I made my way under the structure of the pier, There was a damp chill in the air but I knew instantly the shot I was after and that this image would definitely be converted to Black and White. The light was low and as a result I was able to achieve a long exposure to Milk out the waters. Hopefully capturing some of the sense of drama and bleakness of that evening. The image was shortlisted in the Telegraphs Travel Photography Competition.
