Short stories told in a few shapes and colors.. Sometimes inspired by what I see, others by how I felt.
We live in a very dynamic world - all that we witness and experience is usually very brief, fleeting. These paintings are like quick notes taken in a sketchbook - but sometimes tell stories and depict beauty difficult to be locked in just few words.
They are like slides - to remind me what caught my attention, what occupied my soul. They are dynamic, quite simple - just like a quick note on a sheet of paper.
This piece depicts a feeling. A strong objection to what roles society sometimes places us in. An objection to submission, conventions and expectations we do not want to stand up to. And YES it is a choice - as we have all been given a choice here. This is to remember one can always say NO, no matter how loud, inconvenient or brutal it may be. I decided to stand up for myself. Won't let go. Despite "dripping blood".
