Artist's description:

Looking north west from beneath Ben Moore up to the Isle of Ulva, islands that are part of the Inner Hebrides off the West Coast of Scotland. This painting was inspired by the low sunlight creeping in under the clouds and bouncing off the moorland below moody squall clouds. A weather system typical autumn and spring; dancing between downpoors and dazzling light, dim, grey and then suddenly illuminated and bright with pale golden rays reflecting off every surface.

Materials used:

Ink on thick handmade watercolour paper
