I love pizza, I love pop art, so naturally this happened!
I painted this in keeping with my 'pop art food' series. This shows two slices of pizza topped with pepperoni, green peppers, mushrooms, tomato and cheese, rendered in colourful bright acrylic paint. The black outlines were done using Posca paint pens.
It's a bold bright painting that would brighten up any room in your home, or would make an ideal gift for the pizza lover in your life!
It is painted on a stretched cotton canvas that's ready to hang.
Size -
12 inches x 12 inches
30 cm x 30 cm
Roughly 1 inch or 2 cm thick.
I've been inspired to create work like this by classic pop artists like Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Patrick Caulfield.
Postage will be first class and packaged flat with bubble wrap.
