This original painting was inspired by the fullness of the forest. Relishing the highly chromatic colors offered by acrylic, the colors are exaggerated and pushed to the limit. Dispensers were used to apply thick pure hues in a pointillistic style on the panel. Your eye mixes the color from a distance and the haphazard stokes become more realistic close-up, reminiscent of impressionism.
