I took this shot on lovely autumn morning at Winkworth Arboretum. The sun was low in the sky casting dappled shade and glistening off the wet twisted tree trunk.
Winkworth Arboretum is a National Trust property which exhibits large collections of trees and shrubs leading down to landscaped garden lakes, a favourite place to visit in autumn for obvious reasons.
This is a high dynamic range (HDR) image created from one single original image to bring out the the texture and tones in the foliage. Merged using Nik HDR Efex Pro 2 and processed in Photoshop to realise the atmosphere of that lovely, sunny, damp, autumn morning.

This is a run of limited edition prints measuring 29.7 x 29.7 cm and numbering 150 is printed using archival quality inks on photographic acid-free lustre paper. The print is numbered, titled and signed on the reverse and care notes are included to help you make the most of your purchase.
