Artwork description:

Soft glint of light on water during twilight on a sandy beach. The stream had cut into the sand and the oblique angle of the light on this drew me to the scene.
I had to time my exposure so that the waves had retreated from the top of the image. Shortly after making this picture, a larger wave came in and washed away the vertical sand face. Transience of art in nature in action.
