Artist's description:

This series includes more prints with different colored backgrounds. I have run the photographic shot on september 2010, During a trip from The Lofoten islands to Tromsø, Norway, I watched the sky from the deck of the ship, and see these huge chimneys of metal that spitting out smoke, were projected upwards towards the sky gray ash. It seemed to me that there was no sky, as in Beijing, where cannot see you the sky due to the smog. The deep field disappears under the grey strata of pollution. Hence, addition to the black and white, the idea of creating black tubes on a chromatic, "flat" and homogeneous background. So, these images have two dimensions; there is no more evidence of any life in the landscape.
