Truly, Madly... began with a large swirls of process magenta and white using a soft, fluffy brush. I graduated to cadmium red, orange and yellow. I splattered water from my fingers to wet and press off the water to mottle the orange and yellow near the white heat. A pin sized opening from a tube layed the winding streams of pearlescent white and orange yellow radiating from the sun. After a good dry, the next day I drew the ribbons of lime and teal with a palette knife from this hot white sun, and pressed Hershey's "Kisses" of yellow paint to add more life to the canvas.

The playfulness and chaos of this work reminded me of all-consuming utterly mad, new love.

Truly, Madly arrives prewired, ready to hang.
