Original artwork description:
As the majority of my artistic work this triptych is also inspired by shapes and textures observed in the vastity of nature.
This set features 3 square wall sculptures that are created molding cellulose by hand.
Next, the texture is impregnated with epoxy resin, which stiffens and hardens the spykes.
Then 2 coats of resin mixed to a pure gold metal pigment covered the whole surface as a golden lava flow.
The result is amazingly brilliant and the texture catches the light from every angle.
Dimensions of each 3D panel:
inches 11 1/2" X 11 1/2" X 2"
cm 29 X 29 X 4.5
