Artist's description:

The story of the painting:

This is an athlete with a sponge full of refreshing water during his last part of the famous Czech Triathlon called Moraviaman ( 2,3 miles swim, 111 miles on bike and 26,2 miles run). The joy of every drop of water that the runner sqeezes from the sponge is as big as big is the joy that he feels. The painting shows an incredible combination of joy and asceticism that is so typical for long distance athletes.

In this painting, I used several references to my beloved painting "Blue Chauffeur" by Polish artist Andrzej Wróblewski.

In case of sale, I will add my signature before shipping, so only the real owner knows what it looks like on this particular painting (each of my paintings is signed almost the same way, but there is always a slight difference in each painting that makes it original and special).
