Artist's description:

While searching for some gigantic red fir trees seen from the road, I found I had to cross private land owned by a sawmill to get to them. As no one was around I began to quickly record the woodland as the autumn colours were vivid that day and glowed in the blue English light. There is now a series of five drawings made plein air. Trespassing For Art is a drawing on painted paper made using pastel pencils, coloured pencils and graphite. The underlying vermillion acrylic paint breaks through the textured pastels which remain unblended and raw.

Materials used:

Pastel and pencil
